At first, what is CSS?

I intend to record notes on HTML and CSS techniques in this section.

I only started properly working with HTML around May 2024, so I still consider myself a beginner. Additionally, while I was writing in HTML, I frequently encountered CSS, but I only recently learned what it means. In my interpretation, CSS handles the behind-the-scenes processing for layout specifications in HTML, such as positioning text and images. For example, it can be used to specify font types and sizes for text. It can also be applied to process images.

It seems that this standard was established on December 17, 1996. (More specifically, it was proposed by Håkon Wium Lie in 1994.)
